Outcome measures
Primary outcome
Validation of the Dutch language version of PRWHE and the Quick-DASH questionnaire for adult patient with hand and wrist complaints
Secondary outcome
content validity, construct validity, Reproducibility (test-retest reliability), responsiveness and minimal important change (MIC)
Background summary
Patient rated outcomes measures (PROMs) have gained a great importance in daily practise. The dutch language version of Quick-DASH and PRWHE questionnaires are used in orthopaedic surgery to provide an insight in the patient perspective with upper limb injuries/complaints. Several studies have been conducted to validate the psychometric properties of these questionnaires. However, to our knowledge, these questionnaires have not been validated in patients with hand and/or wrist complaints. This study aims to define the validity, reproducibility and responsiveness of the of the Dutch version of the Quick-DASH and PRWHE questionnaires in patients with hand and/or wrist complaints
Study objective
The dutch language version of the PRHWE and the Quick DASH questionnaire are valid to use in patients with hand and wrist complaints
